Monobloc heat pump: the entire circuit is in a single unit outside, with no refrigerant gas inside the house. It heats up (and as the model cools down) and can produce domestic hot water, with great energy efficiency.

Official Mitsubishi Electric product, installed and covered by LEFE.The heat pump is today the most efficient and economical way to heat the house and domestic hot water (DHW), replacing gas or diesel boilers. For each unit of electricity it consumes, it delivers several units of heat. This is what the COP/SCOP measures; the higher it is, the lower the bill. A well-sized heat pump can markedly reduce the cost of heating compared to gas.
Air-to-water pumps heat water for radiators, underfloor heating and showers, being the basis of an efficient central heating system; DHW-specific units heat only hot water. The sizing depends on the area to be heated, the insulation of the house and the number of people, so it is always done after technical evaluation.
